Kenney & Sams Partner J. Nathan Cole, Esq. has been recognized by BTI Consulting Group as a Client Service All-Star for 2022. Now in its twentieth year of publication, the award honors attorneys delivering notably high-level client service.
Recognized as a Client Service All-Star for the first time, Nate focuses his practice on business and construction litigation. He has litigated cases relating to a wide range of business and construction disputes, including construction defect and delay claims, mechanic’s liens, jobsite safety, breach of contract, employment matters, insurance coverage, and partnership disputes. Nate currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association where he is the Chair of the Construction Law Committee. He also serves as Vice Chair of Programs for the International Association of Defense Counsel’s Construction Law Committee. He is a regular speaker for national continuing legal education programs, and recently presented at the IADC’s Mid-Year Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, on “Blockchain and the Practice of Law: How Cryptocurrency Will Impact the Legal Profession and Our Clients.”
Only 36 attorneys were selected nationally for this recognition in the business litigation category. BTI Client Service All-Stars are chosen by corporate clients to be recognized for their commitment to superior client service. The individuals selected as BTI Client Service All-Stars were nominated by 350 top decision-making in-house corporate counsel at large organizations with $700 million or more in revenue. BTI does not allow law firms to nominate their own employees.
BTI Client Service All-Stars are selected based on their client engagement, investment in learning clients’ business, savvy knowledge of clients’ unique rules and people, unequivocal and concise expression of their thoughts, and forward-thinking anticipation of what next steps should be. BTI Consulting Group makes its award selections based solely on in-depth, telephone-based interviews as part of its ongoing Annual Survey of General Counsel. No law firm submissions, self-referrals, firm referrals, suggestions, or payments are accepted for inclusion. You can view the list of those recognized on BTI’s website.
