Tara M. Golson is a litigator who represents a broad range of clients in business disputes, construction litigation, insurance coverage disputes, among other things. Tara has significant trial experience and assists in all stages of case analysis and trial preparation, including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and witness preparation. Tara has courtroom experience advocating for her clients, and experience mediating and arbitrating matters before a range of tribunals.  She is a dedicated advocate who helps clients navigate challenging issues.

Prior to joining K&S, Tara was an Assistant District Attorney in Essex County and worked at one of the largest insurance defense firms in the New England region. Her work included substantive research, written discovery and pleadings, and motion practice.

Tara regularly judges trial competitions for local high school and college competitions and serves as a judge for the Texas Young Lawyer Association’s National Trial Competition held each year. She has served as a coach and mentor to local trial competition teams since graduating law school.

During her time in law school, Tara gained important foundational skills serving as a judicial intern for the Honorable Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and working as an in-house associate for a corporate entity. Tara is a graduate of Troy University, Syracuse University and the University of Maine School of Law.
