Collin earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Wittenberg University in 2011, where he interned for Congressman Bobby Rush. He served as an AmeriCorps member with City Year in a Washington, D.C. middle school and later obtained a Master of Social Work from Smith College in 2015, working as a child psychologist in Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., and New York City, specializing in adolescents and recent high school graduates while contributing to education policy. In 2022, he received his J.D. from Fordham University Law School, participating in the Stein Scholars Program, interning for The Honorable Richard M. Berman in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District, and attending the Center for Public Research and Leadership at Columbia University.
