George Barclay

Associate

George Barclay is a litigator who resolves business, construction, and employment disputes. George’s practice touches all stages of trial preparation for the civil litigation process including substantive research, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, witness preparation, settlement negotiations, and mediation. A zealous advocate, George utilizes a proactive, pragmatic, and thorough approach to help ease the burden of litigation for his clients. George also engages in risk management for clients, advising them on daily business operations and counseling them on how to avoid potential conflicts.

George’s experience spans disputes related to business, construction, insurance defense, personal injury, real estate, products, and premises liability. George represents clients in state and federal court.

George is an emerging member in local bar organizations, where he is a part of the Massachusetts Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.  He is also a member of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association.

Prior to joining Kenney & Sams, George was an associate in the Boston office of a regional civil litigation and insurance defense firm and an associate at a small general practice firm in Boston.

While in law school, George interned for the Honorable Serge Georges, Jr., who now sits on the Supreme Judicial Court. He was also a member of the Suffolk Business Law Association and the Journal of Health & Biomedical Law. In his final year of law school, George represented indigent clients through the Suffolk University Law School Defenders Clinic program and defended clients in all stages of litigation.
